Judy Bowyer
Days of Darkness
May 13 - June 10, 2006
Opening Reception: May 13, 7:00 pm*
Judy Bowyer is best known for her extensive audio collection of worries. Working with audio installation and intervention, Bowyer attempts to calm the existential angst by externalizing the internal voice. Days of Darkness marks a return to combining minimal visuals with audio. Bowyer is developing this new work into a series of inspirational posters, daybooks, and calendars. If interested, please try to encourage or discourage her. (She thinks she can sell them.)
Judy Bowyer has exhibited across Canada and participated in group shows that have traveled to known and unknown locations, some international and others definitely exotic. During her life, so far, Bowyer has collected various education papers and documents from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and many Ontario locations including: Waterloo, Oakville, Guelph, and St. Catharines. Besides continuing to collect worries, her hobbies include job interviews and driving.
