Delio Delgado
Dominican Republic Military Academy (quit), computer engineer (also quit), and later went on to receive a BFA in Multidisciplinary Studies from the National School of Fine Arts in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He also graduated from Altos de Chavon School of Design which is affiliated with Parsons, The New School of Design, in New York City. Between 1997 and 2010 Delio has exhibited in public and alternative spaces in the Caribbean, Europe, and Canada, including the Civil Museum of the City of Cremona in Italy, the 12th International Print Biennial in Varna, Bulgaria, the Fine Arts Biennial of the Dominican Republic, the 10th Havana biennial in Cuba (parallel), the IDB Cultural Center in Washington, DC, and recently at the Art Gallery of Peterborough. Delio currently works and sometimes teaches at The Print Studio in Hamilton, Ontario. He has been living in Hamilton, Ontario since 2003. |
